foot update

Everyone just seemed sooo interested in my swollen blackened foot I thought I would bring you an update and reply to your questions and concerns.

1. My foot is even fatter now. Its like sausage foot. A big fat foot shoved into a little sausage foot sleeve.

2. Alex has been especially helpful. He made dinner, and brought me coke upon request, changed my ice pack, let me have the whole couch to myself and picked out which drugs I should take.

3. Except for this morning when he left to go hiking before I woke up and I had to get ready by myself.

4. The office manager gave me some left behind crutches. (thats how good our doctors are. They are magic healers. Only one visit needed)
5. No drugs for me. The doctor thought the medicine I am currently taking for my back might help my foot, since its not doing anything for my back.

6.I didnt get a Jazzy for office use. I did however get to roll around the whole place in my chair. Its better than a Jazzy cause the seat spins too.

7. There was no "army crawl of death" but the look on Alex's face when he realized I was serious, not kidding, was freakin awesome.

8. The doctor did take xrays. It showed no fractures.

9. I did get a brace. Its black with laces and Velcro... a little too "dominatrix" for everyday wear.

10. I didnt use any coupons or 2fers but I already met my deductible this year so its mostly free...
