Real Soccer

Um... yeah. It's not real soccer. It's Reaaaaaaaal Soccer. Like I'm not implying that its not fake soccer. Thats the name of the team: Real. Yeah, it's dumb.

But we went to the game. see:
And I learned two things.
1. Soccer is not a good game for people who need resolution. Homeboys played for 90 minutes without making a goal. So at the end there wasn't any sudden death or free throws or anything. Nobody won. Lame-o
2. If I ever go again I want to sit in the Black Pearl section. The Black Pearl section was located on the other side of the field from us. They had big flags that they waved in the air and looked like sails and they had this cannon that kept blowing smoke into the air. And I didn't see it, but I am sure there were pirates and rum over there. Look directly across the field and a little to the left. There it is.

Double Coupon Tuesday

Tuesday Kelly and I made out second attempt at double coupon Tuesdays at WalMart. (Our first attempt was so horrifying I cannot even write about it) Disappointment lingers. I was so un-elated at the end of this trip I didn't have the energy to set everything up and take pictures. And here is why:

1. There is a designated register to check out customers with coupons to double... it is staffed by the kid who can't do simple addition and subtraction in his head.
2. Each item has to be price checked, then the value of the coupon subtracted by said employee, price override to input price and the coupon scanned. This takes 90 seconds per item.
3. Employee proceeds to tell me math is his good subject and then mumbles,"$1.08 minus 50cents would be.....move the decimal... carry the one.... 58 cents!"
4. I have to make small talk with a 19 year old with limited social skills who I am afraid is going to ask me if I want to grab an ice creme from the McDonalds inside the WalMart at the end of the transaction.
5. The reciept does not show total savings or the original price of the item. There is no way to tell how much money I saved by enduring double coupons!!
6. I hate WalMart.
