Templeton is probably the most unsavory character in Charlotte's Web. But, I do admire him for his thrifty ways. Why let perfectly good food scraps go to waste? Pharmaceutical reps bring lunch to our office almost everyday. Not all of that food gets eaten. Someone should take it home and revitalize it for dinner. That person is me. As I was leaving the office on Monday, buried under two empty boxes for wrapping presents, a 2012 edition of Physician's Desk Reference, a reusable plastic bowl from Noodles, some grilled chicken kabobs and a container of shredded cheese Angie called out, "See you later, office rat!" to her I responded, "Please, call me Templeton."
