movin sisters

I finally got my couch moved. I kept waiting for a couple of big muscled boys to show up and help, but alas, they never did. So I called abz and we did it together.

After loading the beast I had Abby begin to secure it while I locked up the storage unit. When I got back to the car this is what I found:

That wouldn't quite hold the sofa all the way from Lehi to SLC to we used so nylon strapping we found in Jared's garage. While laying under the car threading the nylon stuff through every hole I could find I commented to abby that, "this is just like sewing, but you know, with a car not fabric." We secured the whole thing with a couple of knots we remembered from girls camp and we were off into the night!

* Before leaving we did agree that if the sofa fell out of the car onto the freeway somewhere along the way we would just keep on driving. Hell, we were in my pimp SUV, we could just speed away and noone would be the wiser. :)
