Last night Alex and I went and saw Indiana Jones. It had a few "Indy wouldn't do that" moments but was overall and entertaining show. If you haven't seen it I would recommend waiting until it goes to the dollar movie or have a boy take you...
Anyway we were discussing some of the weirder parts of the movie and went off on a tangent about God. I was taught in Sunday School that if you were a good little girl and followed all the rules and jumped through the hoops, when you died you got to be a God of your own world.
This makes me wonder: Is the God every Mormon worships the original God or just someone who passed the test and got his own world? And if you get your own world do you get to write your own scriptures? And who is the original God? And if you are God and mess up your world and it blows up do you get another one? And what happens if you run out of planets? And what if you don't want to play God, do you have to?
So, yeah, feel free to post a link to some church resource with the answers to these questions.

your questions are really good. Questions that most people don't know the answers to, but just don't have the brain capacity (or courage) to pose.
